A connected interactive showroom for Brink's client demo journey
Brinkβs can invite their clients for an interactive demo to their Innovation Center in Utrecht, or other similar showrooms across the globe. The visitors are handed tablets on arrival and they can interact with the presentation as they are progressing through the rooms of the experience. The last room is a vault where lockers contain the final case studies and solutions for the clients. Interacting with the locks on the locker controls this last phase of the workshop.
Iβve architected the technical solution for the given UX of the visitor experience and led the developer team who delivered the presentation software. The security policies of Brinkβs demanded delivery on AWS so I implemented a secure and robust Websocket API for the project with AWS API Gateway and I also developed Terraform solution that could deploy the NextJS project to AWS (this was before SST). I also created the local message router services which connected the vault to the rest of the system and sent control messages to the lighting and curtain systems from the presentation.
